Imported from Spain in 2017 16.2+hh bay PRE\Andalusian registered and was approved for breeding as a virgin stallion with ANCCE before being gelded. This honest, gentle horse has presence, a big heart, and a quiet, intelligent character for moving up the levels. Ilustrado is keen to please his rider, demonstrating excellent trainability along with plenty of talent. He is an excellent mount for an amateur, but would also excel with a professional. He is the same horse whether he was ridden recently or last week, has a great work ethic, and travels well to the beach, shows, trails, etc. Without question, he possesses the most easy to sit gaits of any horse we've had the pleasure to know. Working at second level with some higher level movements, he is a very balanced, cadenced and lofty mover who will progress quickly. He has the movement to be a dressage competitor people will take note of in the ring. Video shows him at a new venue for the first time, travelling there by himself. In the video he is seen being ridden in a jump saddle and jumping a ditch - his very first time seeing one just to demonstrate how brave and willing this gentleman really is. Self loads on trailer and is well behaved for bathing, grooming and farrier. UPDATE; Ilustrado showed at Second level this month for the first time and scored a 65.6%. Frolicking Fox Farm

The farm’s owner\manager, Grace Andry-Lee began backing young horses for the race track at the age of 11 in North Salem, New York. Daughter, Abigail Lee has continued the tradition, training and riding young, inexperienced horses from the start box of their first event up through successful completion of the CCI one stars at Red Hills and the Ocala Horse Park. Grace’s focus is now primarily in the dressage and CT disciplines, with a specialty in body mechanics. She has expanded her assistance to equestrians beyond lessons in the ring and coaching off premises, through her equestrian focused yoga practice, (see; www.equestrianyoga.com). Grace is available for in the saddle and on the mat instruction by appointment.

Abby Lee devotes much of each week to rider instruction and coaching in all three phases of eventing, when not in the saddle training horses.
Abby has always enjoyed bringing along their own young horses, from first rides to competition level. At the age of nine, Abby qualified her green, Arabian pony mare for Region 8 championships within six months of the pair taking their first dressage lesson together. Abby has competed at the Red Hills CIC*, the American Eventing Championships and Youth Dressage Festivals and has placed in the top-ten year-end finishes nationwide in eventing amongst young riders. Abby now enjoys bringing riders along through her instruction on the flat and over fences and is available for backing and training young horses or retraining\progressing the training of more experienced horses.
