Listed in 1 person's Favorites.Evita is a stunning Holsteiner mare who was born, registered, and branded in Germany, then imported in February 2017 shortly after being started under saddle. By Cormint and out of a Landgraf mare who has produced other 1.60m horses (including Peter Wylde's Quo Vadis mare) She is catty, quick, sensitive, scopey, and wickedly smart with all of the attributes of a top level jumper. No spook, no naughty behavior, and an absolute warrior mentality about the jumps, she will undoubtedly carry someone to the top levels of the show jumping sport (and I do not say that lightly!). She completed her first (ever) course in April 2017 at Thunderbird Show Park in the 0.75m jumpers. By August she was picking up top ribbons and wins in the 1.10m jumpers and YJC Young Horse classes (1.10m - 1.20m) in great company. January of 2018 found her in the 1.25m YJC 6yo classes where she jumped her first (ever) 1.20m/1.25m rounds with terrific focus and technique. I've categorized this mare as a "5" in the temperament category, and I want to explain that she is extremely sensitive and reactive to her surroundings, but not "hot" or difficult to ride. As such, she's sensitive but not quick, and quiet but not dull. She is one of my 10yo daughter's favorites to hack for me (and she frequently hacks her with no prep at all). She would be a fabulous horse for an amateur looking for an absolute top prospect for the High AO Jumpers or to take into the GP ring. AOK with mistakes, she'll turn herself inside out to get you to the other side of the jump and never holds a grudge on the backside. Evita is a top quality mare destined for the International ring and looking for a rider that wants to win against the best and look good doing it! Priced according to her quality, in the 6 figure range. Full set of clean x-rays on file and sound with no vices or issues. More information at www.flyingfsporthorses.com/

Lindsey is an amateur rider located in Kingston, WA. She shows on the West Coast with her TB who competes in the High AO Jumpers and Grand Prix/FEI classes and her 8yo Holsteiner mare who has just made the move into the 1.40m. Her young daughter shows in the little hunters and jumpers on Lindsey's former 1.40m horse and has a lovely medium pony who will soon join the show crew. Lindsey has close relationships with several phenomenal East Coast and German breeders who understand their horses extraordinarily well. The horses she imports are sane, sound, and, most importantly, easy for an amateur rider to handle. Absolute priority number one, before a horse is even considered for purchase, is the temperament and brain. She strives to describe every horse accurately and in great detail to ensure that there are no surprises for potential buyers, and takes great pains to matchmake horses and riders well. You can trust that what you see is what you'll get with fully transparent and open vet records, clean x-rays (unless otherwise noted up front), and industry references (including past buyers, sellers, and trainers).
