Steppin Out, aka "Tug", is a 13 year old 16.0 hand Warmblood cross gelding. Beautiful mover with three balanced gaits, this horse has incredible presence in the show ring. Handsome, brave and willing with impeccable form and tons of scope. Easy lead changes and plenty of step to walk down the lines. With an impressive show record, Tug is consistently Champion or Reserve Champion in the Hunter division and always at the top of the hack class. With his smooth jump, rhythmical gaits and easy adjustability, he is perfectly suited for the Equitation and Medal classes as well. Tug would make a top junior or amateur mount for a serious competitor who is looking to stand out. Eligible 3’6” Green Hunter, he is currently showing successfully at 3'3" and easily schooling 3’6” at home. With too many individual awards to mention, Tug was awarded Grand Champion Hunter for the MHJA in 2014, and has been Champion and Reserve at his last three shows. In July 2016 he was Reserve Champion in the 3’3” Performance Hunters at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. In May 2017, during two weeks of showing at Waterloo Hunt, Tug was Reserve Champion in Unrestricted Children/Adult Hunters and was awarded two Championships in Adult Hunter 18-35, making him the overall Circuit Champion in that division. He had several top calls, including six blue ribbons over fences and first place on the flat. Tug is a barn favorite with a lot of personality and no vices. Priced in the mid five-figures.
